Chapter 3

Shivaansh's head rested on the chair as he sat there, closing his eyes taking deep breaths, awaiting someone.

The flashbacks of events that had taken place not a while ago was flashing infront of him, filling him with blinding rage.

She betrayed. Just because of her he couldn't fulfil his grandfather's dream. The man he loved more than anything in the world.

Shivaansh was early for work, no staff was present at the hour. The failure of his project had caused him restlessness leading to no amount of sleep even after a tiresome day.

He kept on tossing and turning to even get an hour of sleep but all in vain. He knew until he punishes the culprit he was not going to breath in peace.

After a while the company started filling in with staffs. The once deafeningly silent office was now filled in with chitter chatter.

"Any clues?" Advik nodded positively at his boss's question. He called a security guard.

"Sir, the guard has to say something regarding Miss Aacharya" Shivaansh nodded in approval, taking his reading glasses off, he kept them on the desk.

"Sir, Miss Aacharya had been leaving the office premises tardier than others for the last week. She was the last person who left the office, 1-2 hours after the working hours" Shivaansh nodded and gestured the guard to leave. The guard bowed down and obeyed silently scurrying away, because the way boss's calmness filled eyes moulded into bitterness was frightening.

"Anything else, Advik?"

"Yes sir, we have found a few pictures of Miss Aacharya entering Knights & Co. A day before the got the deal" Advik forwarded an envelope to Shivaansh.

Pictures of Ishanvi entering the premises of Knights & Co. He saw red. He gave her a chance to confess. Yet she chose to betray him.

She had a cunning lier hiding behind those clueless looking innocent eyes. What an actress! Even he was forced to believe that she was not behind the theft.

"Get the pictures checked if they are edited or not" Advik nodded leaving his boss's cabin in a hurry. Shivaansh's eyes had turned red due to the recent events. He hated betrayers and now he was going to make her regret every decision she had made ever since she joined his company.

"May I come in sir" Shivaansh responded positively after hearing a knock on the door followed by Ishanvi's voice.

Ishanvi quietly slipped inside the room standing infront of her boss. She was thoroughly displeased with the whole situation she was landed into. The person, she wanted to maintain 10 feet distance with, was continuously dragging her into his vicinity.

"Miss Aacharya please have a seat" Ishanvi faintly sat on the seat with utter uneasiness. She noticed Shivaansh staring at her from top to bottom and not in a good way.

The discomfort caused by his scanning gaze was significant. She rubbed her hands on her knees, lowering her gaze due to the awkwardness that surged through her.

The confusion as to why the CEO of the company called her again and why he was starting at her continuously not in a comfortable way was messing up with her mind.

He stood up from his seat slowly making his way to her, all of her senses were alerted. He was slowly walking to her, like a predator circles it's prey Shivaansh walked around her seat.

She was startled when she felt his hands on her shoulders, the uneasiness she felt reached on it's peak when Shivaansh squeezed her shoulder. She tried removing his hold but nothing worked.

"Si-Sir what are you doing? Please leave me" She pleaded in a soft voice still shrugging her shoulders in an attempt of removing his hold.

"I'm doing nothing Miss Aacharya, I have called you here to offer you something" He loosened his hold and came infront of her, leaning on the desk before her, he eyed her up and down.

"You are young and beautiful, be my mistress, I'll pay you any amount you desire, you will live in luxury" Ishanvi processed his words, contemplating what he actually said, did she mishear? Or he actually asked her to be his mistress.

Adrenaline rushed through her senses she stood up from her seat and accusingly stared at him.

"How dare you? You are my boss that doesn't mean you will use such vulgar words"

Shivaansh made his way towards her slowly, eyeing her like a carnivore eyeing meat. His stare was filling her with disgust the former words he uttered were echoing inside her head.

He held her shoulders tightly, she wiggled in his hold trying to free herself. The more resistance she showed the more tighter he held her.

"Trust me you will not find a deal as such" He slowly dropped his face near her neck, gradually tracing his nose on her shoulder blade, "All you have to do is warm my bed and-

Ishanvi pushed him with a force that he stumbled on his working desk. Her face was filled with tears, all messed up.

She walked near him and slapped him hard, her hand was shaking with fear, tears were dropping from her eyes one after another, her whole body was shaking.

"I'm not a girl to sell her dignity for a few notes, you are disgusting" She ran away from his cabin crying all the way out.

Shivaansh held the cheek that she slapped, the place stung but the stinging sensation was still providing him pleasure, a sense of satisfaction. Her teary eyes, her shaky form, her scared look everything about this situation was filling him with rapture.

A slight smile gradually made it's appearance on his face. Sleeping with her was never his intention, that was just the starting of his plan, he wanted to break her just the way she broke the only dream he had, for something he had worked hard.

The moment Advik came with the proofs against her and the news that the pictures were not edited, he was filled with rage. The mere thought of his employee double crossing him did not sit well with him.

He called Ishanvi and well whatever happed was sour for her but saccharinely sweet for him.

He caressed his left cheek and muttered in a slow voice, "You'll yourself come to me Miss Aacharya, this time to be my wife" The left side of his lips curved up slowly as he spun the paper weight on his desk sitting on his table with sheer peace.

That incident had marked the start of his revenge.

Little did he know this was the start of his vengeful love.
