Chapter 1

Shivaansh Shekhawat was filled with fury and rage, his eyes were bloodshot red, veins popping out, the sight was disturbing for anyone who witnessed. His burning gaze was compelling his employees to cower back in fear Anyone could say that he was in a state to burn a person alive.

The room was burning cold for the employees standing infront of Shivaansh. Some were quivering in fear while the others were wiping their sweat in nervousness, either of the situation explained just how intimidating the young man was.

"WHO SOLD THE DETAILS OF THIS PROJECT? WHO? TELL ME" Shivaansh roared at his employees, his tone was enough for the people in front him to tremble in fright.

His bloodshot eyes, containing a lethal look was exacerbating their trepidation. This man was always calm, he always controlled his anger because he knew his anger was destructive but now he did not care, he could burn anything or anyone into ashes.

"FUCKING TELL ME! IF I FIND IT OUT MY WAY I PROMISE THAT PERSON WILL CRY THE TEARS OF BLOOD" Shivaansh slammed his hand on his desk, causing all the employees present in the room to shudder.

Apparently, Shivaansh had been working on a very important project. That particular project was his grandfather's dream, a dream he couldn't fulfill before leaving this world. He was determined to make that dream come true, turn that into reality. He was just a few steps away from cracking the deal but a mole inside his company sold the information of the project to the rivals.

The outcome was sour for Shivaansh, he lost the deal, he had worked hard for that project, he had been working on that project since 4 months living alone in New York, away from his family.

No wonder he was enraged, the faces of his employees, chosen for the project were casted downwards. No one uttered a word, just as he expected. Now he was going to deal with this mess in his way. The culprit will shed the tears of blood.

"GET OUT" He shouted turning his frame towards the glass window of his office. He could hear the footsteps of his employees scurrying away.

He closed his eyes inhaling deep breaths, in an attempt of calming his anger, which seemed imposible.

"Advik"

"Yes Sir" Shivaansh's PA answered immediately settling his glasses on his nose, he peered at his boss quietly making sure he is not as enraged as before.

"Hire a few investigators, I want that backstabber infront of me before tomorrow's sunset, am I clear?"

"Yes sir" Advik noticed his boss who was glaring at nowhere particular. His eyes showed a venomous hatred, the dark glint his grey eyes possessed seemed destructive.

Ishanvi Aacharya kept her bag on the table of her assigned cubicle. Her breathing wad fast, she was panting heavily due to running. She was late.

Post reaching the company she had ran towards the lift, pressing the number of her floor desperately, not wanting to lose a second. At that moment one second could cause her, her prestigious job.

After reaching the floor she was relived but the relief was short lived. Vanishing into the air the relief was substituted by sheer panic after the environment of the office sank inside her brain.

The usual chitter chatter was missing and had been marked by a deafening silence. For a moment the thought of her boss visiting this part of the company to check on the employees crossed her mind filling her with disturbing scenarios where she would be kicked out of the company.

The only time she ever met her boss was when she was selected for the job but her father working in the rival company created an issue. She never crossed paths with her boss after that day not that she was complaining, she was rather happy and hoped to never come 5 ft. near his presence.

"What's up? Why is everyone so quiet today?" Ishanvi asked her colleague, Evan, who was a good friend of her. She gazed here and there trying to locate any traces of her boss being here.

"The important project that boss had been working on day and night since months, someone sold the information to the Knights & Co. Boss is enraged." Evan glanced at his friend replying to her in hushed tond and resumed typing on his computer ignoring her friend who was left gasping at the new information un folded infront of her.

"You mean" She air quoted "The important project" She recieved a subtle nod from her friend. She lifted her head and again glanced at her surrounding finding everything safe she asked in a hushed whisper.

"The same important project for which the 'chosen best' employees were appointed" Evan finally stopped typing and sighed glancing at his friend, he nodded as a reply and said "Yes the same project and the talk in the office says boss has threatened everyone that once he finds out who betrayed him that person will cry the tears of blood."

"Whoever is behind this must watch their back, that man is scary" Ishanvi gulped hardly as a glimpse of his unreadable grey eyes flashed infront of her. She did not know about other but she could not forget those scary grey eyes, how much intimidated she felt just by his stare.

"Indeed he is, henceforth everyone is quiet today, don't do anything stupid to get into his bad books" She nodded, she was not stupid to do anything that might trigger her boss. She would rather stay in her cubicle and work all day.

"Sir" Advik knocked on the door gaining Shivaansh's attention who was calmly sitting on his chair, typing something on his laptop, seeming as calm as the ocean before a tsunami.

Advik gulped in fright witnessing his boss looking as placid as a mountain lake. He had worked for years in this company as Shivaansh's personal assistant to know the difference between the serenity filled look of his boss and the peace before the storm though his instinct said this time it was the latter one.

"Come in" Brief and curt as always, came his answer.

"Sir one of our investigators have found something" Advik forwarded an envelope to his boss. Shivaansh grabbed the envelope and post opening the envelope his gaze darkened the calmness was again replaced by rage, blind rage.

The envelope contained a picture of his employee, whom he knew too well with the personal assistant of Jason Knight, the CEO of Knights & Co.

"Call Miss Aacharya"
